Laminate Flooring
A-Tech Flooring® provides a limited 25-year Residential and 5 Year Medium Commercial Warranty from the original date of purchase for laminate flooring.
Warranty guarantee:
WEAR: laminate will resist wear on its decorative surface.
STAIN: laminate will resist stains.
FADE: laminate will not fade from sunlight or normal artificial light.
STRUCTURE: laminate will not delaminate and will ensure close, secure fitted joints.
Laminate Flooring Warranty is made subject to the following conditions:
*The flooring must be inspected before installation for any and all, but not limited to such defects such as chips, color or sheen differences under good lighting conditions.
- The flooring must be installed properly in accordance with the instructions provided by A-Tech Flooring®.
- The flooring must be installed using correct installation materials, tools and accessories (foam, moldings, proper tools, etc.).
- The flooring must be installed on a well-prepared level surface. High or low spots may allow the joint to loosen, resulting in floor boards that squeak when walked on.
- A moisture barrier must be applied when flooring is installed over concrete subfloors.
- The flooring must be used only indoors in a dry, climate-controlled area.
- The flooring must be maintained in accordance with A-Tech Flooring® care and maintenance instructions. Damage resulting from using detergents, abrasive cleaners, soaps, waxes or polishes is not covered by this limited warranty.
- Bathroom and laundry room use is excluded from this warranty.
- The warranty does not cover wear of damage due to improper installation, cleaning, care or maintenance in a manner contrary to the instructions provided by A-Tech Flooring®.
- This warranty does not cover negligence, insufficient protection, improper alterations to the original materials, insects, severe accidents, exposure to extreme heat, burns, fire, natural disasters or Acts of God.
- This warranty does not cover chipping (laminate will chip if sharp objects are dropped on it).
- This warranty does not cover warping (laminate will warp if excessive moistures gets into the boards).
- This warranty does not apply to water damage caused by flooding, standing water, pet stains, household applicants or mechanical failures, or damage caused by water seepage underneath or above the flooring.
- This warranty does not cover bridging (which is caused by insufficient expansion spacing).
- This warranty does not cover damages, caused by improper shipping, storage or handling.
- This warranty does not cover grain variation, color variation or stain discoloration.
- This warranty does not apply to squeaking or other noise caused by floating floor installation.
- This warranty does not apply to Shrinkage or Expansion caused by wet sub floor or moisture from above or below flooring. ̇
- This warranty does not cover damages, caused by improper flooring acclimation.
- A-Tech Flooring® is not responsible for Hydrostatic, or Thermal dynamics resulting from improper concrete slab installation.
This warranty is only applicable to the original customer and is non-transferable.
This warranty covers laminate flooring material only. Installation costs will not be covered.
Rigid Vinyl Flooring
A-Tech Flooring® provides a limited 25-year Residential Warranty for Rigid Core Vinyl flooring.
A-Tech Flooring® WPC /SPC flooring is warranted to be 100% waterproof and the structural integrity of the floor plank will not be significantly diminished by exposure to water for the life of the product.
Rigid Vinyl Flooring Warranty is made subject to the following conditions:
- The flooring must be installed properly in accordance with the instructions provided by A-Tech Flooring®.
- The flooring must be installed using correct installation materials, tools and accessories (foam, moldings, proper tools, etc.).
- The flooring must be installed on a well-prepared level surface. High or low spots may allow the joint to loosen, resulting in floor boards that squeak when walked on.
- A moisture test must be performed to determine if excessive moisture exists in the subfloor.
- A moisture barrier must be applied when flooring is installed over concrete subfloors. These products are not to be used as a moisture barrier and this warranty does not cover damages due to subfloor moisture or mold/mildew growth due to prolonged moisture exposure.
- The flooring must be used only indoors in a dry, climate-controlled area.
- The flooring must be maintained in accordance with A-Tech Flooring® care and maintenance instructions. Damage resulting from using detergents, abrasive cleaners, soaps, waxes or polishes is not covered by this limited warranty.

Filing a claim:
Any claim under any of the limited warranties above must be made by contacting your retailer within 30 days after the basis for the claim is detected. In addition, any claim under any of the limited warranties above must be made before the end of the applicable limited warranty period.
Proof of purchase such as the original invoice or receipt showing the date of purchase must be presented for warranty.
Note: Manufacturing defects must be reported prior to flooring installation, and no later than six months after the date of purchase.
If a denied claim is contested, said claim is then subject to third party arbitration. Arbitration will provide determination of liability.
Both parties will comply with the evaluation and the party found to be liable will incur all costs for inspection and claim.
Both parties expressly acknowledge that the holding of the arbitrator shall be final and binding upon them, and that they are waiving any and all rights they have file their claims in court and any and all rights they may have to a jury trial on these claims.
This warranty constitutes the entire agreement of the parties and no waiver or amendment shall be valid unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of A-Tech Flooring®.
A-Tech Flooring® is authorized to modify or change the comprehensive warranty applying to its products and it reserves the right to make alterations to its products.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
This warranty does not cover indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of use, or labor expenses in uninstalling or installing any material or parts, whether arising out of breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, tort, or any other legal theory, even if A-Tech Flooring® has been advised of the possibility thereof. A-Tech Flooring® disclaims responsibility for damages in excess of your purchase price.
A-Tech Flooring® Responsibility:
If A-Tech Flooring® accepts a claim under any of the limited warranties above, A-Tech Flooring® will repair or replace, at its option, the affected A-Tech Flooring® flooring material only. If A-Tech Flooring® in its sole discretion determines that such repair or replacement is not reasonably achievable, A-Tech Flooring® may choose to refund the purchase price of the affected A-Tech Flooring® flooring material. If the design for which a claim is made is no longer available, A-Tech Flooring® will replace the affected floor materials with another A-Tech Flooring® design of equal or greater value at A-Tech Flooring’s discretion. Labor costs will not be covered. Upon approval of the warranty claim, A-Tech Flooring® will provide you with instructions on the manner in which to proceed in order to have your flooring repaired or replaced, and you must comply with such instructions within ninety (90) days after the claim is approved or your rights under the limited warranty will be deemed waived.
